Brian Trow - Founder

As the son of an industrial arts and woodworking teacher, Brian Trow has been exposed to the world of home renovation, design, and fine craftsmanship from an early age. Attempting to avoid following in his father’s footsteps, Brian graduated from Wartburg College in Iowa with a degree in fitness management. He worked in the physical fitness industry for ten years, but in the end, he could not deny his genetic penchant for residential design, construction, and renovation. This resulted in the launch of Foundations Design, LLC in 2005, his general contracting, renovation and design firm. Trow is co-founder of Foundations Design, based in Atlanta.

Since 2005, Foundations Design has renovated and flipped over 30 properties in the Greater Atlanta area, as well as assisted homeowners with their construction and renovation requests. As licensed residential contractors with the state of Georgia, the company specializes in residential design, construction and renovation.

The immediate success and buzz of Foundations design led to a leading role on one of television’s most recognized real estate investment and home renovation shows, A&E’s Flip This House. Brian, along with his partner Peter, has held the leading role for Flip This House for the past 3 years. He has been called upon to share his knowledge and experience through local and national media outlets such as Alpharetta Magazine and, as well as various speaking engagements.

Brian is a self-described “visual perfectionist” who not only can project the complete end-picture but pays diligent attention to details that today’s homeowners crave –open spaces, cutting-edge technology, convenient yet innovative design, and eco-friendly product integration. The ability to relay this creative and technical knowledge in an informative, intelligible, and entertaining fashion makes Brian an industry favorite for product promotion on Flip This House. Product endorsements include: Certainteed, Owens Corning, Armstrong Flooring, USG, Durock, Corian, Merillat Cabinets and more.

Brian currently resides in Atlanta with his wife, Patti. His interests include travel, physical fitness, tennis, photography, reading, and following his beloved Iowa Hawkeye football team.
